GALAXY OF OZ

I drew most of my favorite Oz characters on little fat stars in space. I have no idea why. _{I started off just drawing a little Ozma and Dorothy and it just spiraled out of control .__.}

In this picture we have: Glinda (top), Princess Ozma, Dorothy Gale with Toto and Eureka, Jack Pumpkinhead, Trot, Button-Bright, the Hungry Tiger, The Cowardly Lion, Betsy Bobbin, Scraps, Cap'n Bill, Jellia Jamb, Tik-Tok, Nick Chopper, The Scarecrow, Polychrome (on her signature rainbow/father), Hank and Billina, and the Wizard (Oscar Diggs). GOTTA CATCH EM ALL.

I'll admit it, I like to draw Scraps a lot cuter than she is depicted in the books. She's just a big doll, anyway, I figure adjustments can be made, and I always imagined Dorothy, Ozma, Betsy and Trot having a 'girls night' of sorts and giving Scraps a bit of a make-over to make her... not so frightening. Who knows!

I like--no--I LOVE the Wizard in the fourth book, specifically the scene in the land of the Mangoboos when he creates the gigantic sword. When I was reading it, I could just SEE it happening in an anime. (Happens a lot in this series.) So I decided to draw him with said sword, although I think I still made it too small. :C
