I FINALLY GOT THE MOVIE. Oh rapture!! It was a birthday present to myself. I was broke when it first came out, which made me feel like the worst fan ever. lol...

Once again, this movie rocked my socks. What's even better, to me, is that this is a sequel, and sequels rarely wow me as much as the first. But I think I may like this one even better.

One of my main complaints about the first movie was that Terence, sexy, sexy Terence, had such a ridiculously small role. I love Terence, and I badly wanted to see him and Tink interact, (because I ship those two SO HARD.) so that was a let-down for me. But in "The Lost Treasure", Terence is pretty much the biggest character next to Tink. And their relationship made me want to squee. Oh yeah, I did. xD

I also love that they kept all, and I mean ALL, the original voice actors and actresses. Even Lucy Liu. They also eased into the movie and characters so flawlessly, I felt almost like I had JUST finished watching the first movie. It was almost like coming home. That's truly a difficult thing to achieve in a sequel. But they just did such a great job of making the characters and fairy world so lovable and almost believable... I can't wait for the next movie.

And speaking of the next movie... I love how in every Tinkerbell movie, I usually just have one real complaint. And in that very next movie, my complaint is MORE than made up for. For example, in the first movie, Terence was hardly in it at all. And in "The Lost Treasure", he's all over the place. Now, my only complaint in "The Lost Treasure" is that Vidia, one of my favorite characters, had no speaking lines, and is only seen a couple of times. When watching the trailer for the next movie, "Tinkerbell and the Great Fairy Rescue", Vidia looks to be the MAIN FREAKING CHARACTER. I'm so excited I could hump something.

Also, during the movie, we had another moment where we had to pause the film so that we could laugh for ten minutes. This time, instead of a squirrel and an acorn, it was a bird and a hammer. We were laughing so hard we had to keep skipping back to see the scene again, and then every time we tried to calm ourselves so that we could watch it, we started laughing again. xD

There were also Outtakes on the DVD. No joke. And they made me do a spit-take. Mostly because the squirrel from the first film randomly made an appearance, which was just about the best thing ever. xDDDD

All in all, I can't wait for the next one. >w<

So, I haven't been drawing much lately because I've been completely lacking inspiration. Not to mention, things have been a little crazy lately, and when I have time to myself, I just want to laze around instead of draw... It's been making me rather sad, actually.

So.

Why is it that when massive inspiration FINALLY hits me again, IT WAS RIGHT WHEN I WAS ABOUT TO GO TO BED?? -_- I was going to be good today and go to bed at a semi-reasonable hour, (8am) but all of a sudden, there's a bunch of things I want to draw. And I'm scared that I won't feel like it later. ><

I hope I get to eat sushi later today. :'D

I'm going out of town tomorrow night for a wedding, and I'll be there all weekend! It's kind of exciting because I don't travel much, and I've never been to Kansas City. :3 But I have to wear a dress to the wedding, which doesn't sound like a big deal to most people, but I haven't worn a dress in 7 years. >< I don't like them, they aren't my style. But oh well. :'D It will still be fun.
The last few days have been craziness. I through off my sleeping schedule by going to bed ubber early, and then it was murder trying to get back on track. I think I'm good now though.

Oh wait, to normal people, I'm NOT working early, because 1:30pm is when normal people wake up, and when they wake up, they say, "My goodness, it's past 1pm! I really slept in! D:"

I'm just weird cause I stay up until the wee hours of the morning. And I'm sad because I can't do that tonight. >_< But it's okay, I'm just going to strive to get a couple of commissions done before I go to bed. *sigh*
Mostly I wanted to post a journal because I wanted to prove I was still alive. I haven't posted a journal in forever, because I have been hopelessly and ridiculously addicted to the facebook app Pet Society. I mean, really addicted. Which is weird because the game is so freaking pointless. But I don't even care! I want that seventh room, dammit!! XDDDD
