Oh my goodness.
It's been exactly one year since Tales of the Aphrodite began, and it has changed and grown SO MUCH from what it started out as. It started as a simple pirate role play. We had a few people to start with, but gradually, everyone began leaving, but somehow we just kept going, our characters kept growing, and before we knew it we had over 300 pages of role play, and probably over 200 pieces of art related to it. The Aphrodite has had quite the impact on me. I love the story and characters in a way that very rarely happens to me. And although all the people that role played with us no longer do, I still enjoy all of their characters differently. Mitsunei, Owat, Sai, Ritka, J.J.... All of those characters helped shape the story into what it is now. A collaborative effort. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Our objective is to recognise deviants who deserve more recognition and to feature deviations with less than 10 original comments. The 0-5 Comments Issues feature a deviant as well as 3 deviations with less than 5 original comments from a wide selection of art.
